Shawn Sallee is a salsa instructor, choreographer, and promoter who played key role in the development of salsa dancing in Phoenix in the 2000s when he founded Salvaje Dance Company and established two weekly salsa events. He specializes on Salsa On1 and Casino Rueda.

Renata’s dance odyssey spans over 15 years, from her roots in Murrieta, California, to her current home in Phoenix, Arizona. Along this path, she has graced esteemed stages, contributing to renowned companies such as And All That Jazz Performing Arts Center, Bricks Dance Studio, Dance FX, and Las Diosas under the tutelage of Tjasa Novak. Renata’s commitment transcends performance, as she finds fulfillment as an instructor and choreographer, infusing her work with stories and cultural reverence. Her journey took a pivotal turn in 2021 when she embraced mentorship from Ms. Novak, further specializing in Sensual Bachata. Renata’s humility and gratitude fuel her growth, acknowledging the influence of her mentors and the support of her peers. Yet, her ultimate fulfillment comes from the connections forged on the dance floor, where she shares her passion, inspiring others to find their own authentic expression.

Mohan is the co-director of Monzon Dance Company in Tucson, AZ, and primarily focuses on teaching bachata and salsa.

Sabrina Jeffery, co-Director of Viveza Dance Co, has been teaching salsa and bachata dance classes in Phoenix since 2019.

David Olarte has showcased and instructed salsa on national and international stages for over 25 years. He’s faculty lecturer at ASU teaching Afro-Latin salsa social dance forms.
