KEVIN CORBIN
SALSA ON1 / SALSA ON2
Kevin Corbin is an experienced salsa dancer, performer and instructor, specializing on Salsa On1 and On2 styles.
His dance journey began in 2003, where he discovered and learned the beats of East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop. A year later he broadened horizons and stepped onto the world of salsa in Arizona State University, where his dedication and dancing skills led him to shine on the ASU Competition/Exhibition Dance Team from 2005 to 2006.
A pivotal turn came in 2006 when Kevin joined the Salvaje Dance Company, embarking on a transformative dance chapter that spanned until 2009. He reached an advanced dancing level and perform with this team numerous times. His teaching journey started in 2008 and became a Salsa On1 Instructor at Paragon Ballroom (now N.R.G. Ballroom) in 2009.
He started teaching at Elk’s Lodge with Mambo Exquisite Dance Company, and was part of this dance team from 2017 to 2020, dancing Salsa On2 / Mambo / Cha-cha-cha.
He has been teaching at TUMBAO | Latin Fridays since 2011, where he continues to share his knowledge with new generations of salsa dancers once a month.
