Latin Thursdays – Paused

AZSalsa Review (2026): Latin Thursdays, hosted by Stilo Dance Company, has become one of the go-to spot for Latin dance lovers in Arizona. 

DJ D-Lo plays a mix of salsa and bachata, with some reggaeton and cumbia that keeps the dancers moving all night long. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, the music is sure to get your feet tapping and your body swaying to the rhythm.

But it’s not just the music that draws people to this event Latin Thursdays by Stilo, the salsa instructor David Olarte, a Latin Dance Lecturer at ASU, is of the best in Arizona, with over 30 years of experience teaching and performing. In the nights when Olarte is not teaching, other guest instructors lead the class.

The event was hosted at Duce, and draws a crowd of ASU Latin dance students and also locals looking to have a good time.
