Carlos Jakobs

Carlos Jakobs, born in Colombia and raised in Germany, is redefining the world of bachata. While growing up in Europe, he trained with the elite of sensual bachata, mastering its refined techniques. Upon moving to the United States, he fused this sensual style with the traditional roots of bachata, creating a groundbreaking and modern approach that resonates with audiences everywhere.
In addition to excelling on international stages, Carlos has showcased his talent and versatility by featuring in music videos for renowned artists. His unique blend of tradition, innovation, and artistry continues to inspire dancers and transform the way bachata is experienced worldwide.

He joined the rotation schedule of Tumbao | Latin Fridays, teaching the “All-Levels Bachata” class.
