AZSalsa review 2025: The New York International Salsa Congress undoubtedly ranks among the top salsa events in the world, and for good reason. Every night features live salsa concerts, now joined by bachata concerts on Saturday and Sunday, along with top-notch salsa deejays, keeping the energy at Times Square’s 5-star Marriott Marquis alive until 4 AM. After taking over in the first quarter of 2024, the new organizing team impressively pulled together an international event in less than six months, and with a full year of preparation for 2025, expectations were rightfully sky-high. The promotion was handled very well, and the programming continued the congress’s legacy of excellence — live concerts every night, dance workshops with renowned local, national, and international instructors, nightly dance shows featuring international headliners, new Dance Classic competitions, and unforgettable social dancing where the world’s salsa enthusiasts mixed with the New York dance community.

The 2025 edition delivered top quality. The Friday-to-Sunday salsa concerts alone were worth the price of the full pass, not to mention the salsa-savvy deejays who kept the energy flowing. While the dance floor crowd was a bit thinner than in pre-Covid editions, the social dancing was as amazing as ever.
